Does Recovery Scenario Manager work when there are two buttons 'Yes' and 'No' on the pop-up ?
I need to save an Excel file at the end of my script.
problem is when I run the script, it will save the new Excel file exactely with the same name .Then the 'Save As' pop up comes saying this file already exists.Due you want to replace it ?
there are some workarounds for this but I want to know, can this be handled by recovery scenario manager ? if yes, please let me know the steps.(like which options to choose in the recovery manager n all)
Yes, I can press 'yes' and record that step. Then everything will work fine.
As I said in my query,I have a couple of workarounds, but is this possible to do with Recovery Scenario ? can QTP click on YES/NO option without recording the step but using the Recovery Scenario Manager ?
Will it be able to recognise the popup?
I have defined the trigger event as follows :
1. Select pop-up window
2.Give the window title as 'Save As'
3.Operation type - keyboard or Mouse operation
4.Click Default button/Press the ENTER key
5.Post-Recovery operation - Repeat current step and continue
i believe the last post-recovery has to be changed to repeat from next step, because if u try to repeat the current step then file overriding will be done again, again the recovery scenario would be called etc.,
