Can i use objects that are specific to QTP executed from an standalone vbs file
I have a seperate VBS file which has got the following statement
but if i execute this script file in a pc that does not have an QTP error is thrown, is this because of the fact that description is an object that is specific to QTP and can be compiled or run only in the context of QTP
Also can i use Extern statement in an VBS and execute it without QTP in my system
Re: Can i use objects that are specific to QTP executed from an standalone vbs file
If stand alone script uses objects, that belong to QTP lib, or QTP implementation -
there is no way for VBscript engine to execute them. It doesn't know anything about those objects.
Only QTP can do that.
You even can not execute them as stand alone VBscript, having QTP on your machine.
In any way - you have to import them (ExecuteFile) to QTP script.
