I've been using QTP for long time ,but I never used the GetTOProperty method in most cases I am using the Runtime GetROProperty.
could any one tell me when we need to use GetTOProperty method ?

GetTOProperty is use to get the test object properties. When i say test object properties that means the properties that QTP stores in the Object Repository for identification of that object. And run time properties are those associated with the object that QTP has identified.
You may want to use GetTOProperty to compare with GetROProperty and flag up any differences as dynamic properties. You could use this in conjunction with SetTOProperty to ensure objects with dynamic properties do not cause the test to fail.
