I have following requirement:
1) I need to export the datasheet that i use within an action at the end of that action
2) My Datasheet has 20 columns of data, but i am required to export only 5 columns Plus two more of runtime columns
I tried DataTable.ExportSheet but it would export all 20 columns of my input sheet plus two additional columns.
Does anybody know how to accomplish this? code sample would be greatly appreciated.
Just to get you started, here is a function that will delete the first column in Sheet1 from an Excel File whose path is the argument 'File'
</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">Function Delete_Columns(File)
On Error Resume Next
Set oExcel = CreateObject("Excel.Application"
if err.number <> 0 then
reporter.reportevent 1, "Excel Error", There was an error opening the file: " & err.description
set oExcel = Nothing
Set oExcel = Nothing
End function</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">You'll have to tweak it to get it to remove the columns you want, but at least you have somewhere to start
