Reading Global Sheet for more data when it does not exist

New to QTP 8.2. trying to record a basic script and parameterize a variable. Initially filled in 10 entries in the global sheet for parametrization, ran the test successfully. Saved the test, came back and tried running the same script with 5 enteries in the global sheet, saved the changes in the global sheet by saving the test. Running the test, is successful till the fifth iteration, but it is still looking for the data for sixth iteration and so on...even though the data doesnot exist. Please reply, what settings do I need to change that it only runs for the specified data in the global sheet.
    Thanks

Re: Reading Global Sheet for more data when it does not exist

    1. Avoid storing values in the global sheet unless it has to be shared across various actions. Use the LocalSheet.
    2. Right click your action in the keyword view. Select 'Action Run Properties' and set it to run from rows 1 to 5.
    3. If storing values in the GlobalSheet is absolutely necessary, make sure rows 5 onwards are deleted. Merely taking the values out does not help. To delete a row, right click on the corresponding numbered tab (to the left of the row) and choose Delete (CTRL+K)
