Inorder to get the focus of DOM objects , i have used object property to get native methods focus of that object.
syntax is like this
Set oState = Browser ("BrowserName").Page ("PageName").WebEdit("TextFieldName").Object
It returns the object state, using this we can check whether its Enabled or Disabled
If oState.Disabled = "False" then
Its working fine with IE browser, but not for NS.
Inorder to get the same functionality using NS browser how to handle the code.
Any help will be appreciated
thanks in advance
There is a plugin for Netscape support for QTP. If you go to the downloads > patches section on the MI website you will find what you need in there.

I like what i know and I know what i like
I am using QTP 8.2 , it supports even NS 7.x also. Its recognizing all the objects which are identified using IE in OR.
Inorder to retreive access inner methods of those DOM objects this statement is not working.
In QTP help file, its written that this Object property doesn't work for NS.
Is there any way to get access to inner methods of an Object when using NS
Have you tried using the object spy to access the properties you require? Failing that you can use the Virtual Object manager to create your own objects and definitions of the object.
