I saved the output of one field on the global sheet after that I used a standard check point "with parameter value" to compare the check point's values against what I already have in the global sheet. but it keeps giving me this error:
Verification error-cannot read parameter.
your help appreciated.
For a second I thought "your help appreciated. thank you " was part of the error you saw and I said to myself I'll be darned, Ive never seen anything like this. Maybe something's corrupted or I'm high on coffee!
You maybe outputing the value during one iteration and checking it during another. So in essence there maybe no nth row in your Global Sheet and your nth row iteration therefore cannot find a value. I'd suggest storing the output value in your LocalSheet instead. I think that may be the problem. You need to probably provide us more info.

I would suggest using a more programmatic approach rather than using QTP's built in checkpoint creator. Try using GetROProperty or GetText to obtain the value. You could store that in the Local DT or in a variable and then compare.
