I have a question regarding processing XML-files in QTP 8.
In the documentation I found in Chapter 11 that QTP can create XML file checkpoints to access and verify XML files.
Those are great news.
But: The front end (and also QTP) runs on Windows 2000, but the XML files are located on a backend server (Sun Solaris).
Now my question:
Is it possible to access and process these XML-files, although they are located on a Solaris-server? If “yes”, how?
Thanks a lot.
IN qtp we have 2 types of xml check points
that is xml for file and xml check point
here we r capturing xml formated text
and test the own tags also
this type check points is useful for the hetrogenous environments
