Does anybody know how to execute SQL statements other than select, ex. GRANT SELECT ON test TO abu;
If I use the DB checkpoint it works for driving the database but gives an error in the results as I have no return table to verify.
Is there any workaround? I want to keep my resuls file as clean as possible.
Re: Database checkpoint
To answer my own question and to everybody's benefit this is how you would do it:
Set cnn = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
cnn.Open "DSN=test;UID=user;PWD=password;DBQ=TEST_LOCAL HOST ;DBA=W;APA=T;EXC=F;FEN=T;QTO=T;FRC=10;FDL=10;LOB=T ;RST=T;GDE=F;FRL=F;BAM=IfAllSuccessful;MTS=F;MDI=F ;CSR=F;FWC=F;PFC=10;TLO=0;"
cnn.Execute "grant SELECT ON test to user1;",,adCmdText + adExecuteNoRecords
