I have a script that calls several other reusable actions.
The first two calls work fine.
The third one calls the action ok but it keeps stalling saying it cannot identify one of the objects on the page.
I checked with object spy and the info is the same as the object in the repository. Also if I go to that action directly and kick it off on its own it runs fine.
The action is set to use the per action option.
So any idea on what I am missing here? I'm sure I'm overlooking something but I can't think of what it would be.
Thanks for the help.
If you are using per action OR then the calling action must have (in it's OR) the objects referenced by the called action. If this is the case, you have the following options:
1. Merge the ORs (QTP plus has a utility for doing this
2. Add the missing objects in the calling action's OR.
3. Use descriptive programming in the script to describe objects.
If you are going to using a lot of reusable actions I suggest you use a global OR.
