I had posted a query earlier to know about reporting results in HTML format. Most replies suggested I look at the Report Media template section of QTP Plus. However, from what I understand I would need the MS Visual Basic package for implementing my modified template. Am I right in thinking so, or is there an easier way to do this?
Mark I downloaded a "custom results in HTML format" example from the MI site last year and I think its quite a good vehicle for custom (i.e. the QTP generated reports are too noisy) reports, you only need a little hTML knowledge to be able to use it for your own specific purposes.
I searched the MI site before posting this here but came up with nothing. I'll try again using different keywords. Thanks for the tip though, I had given up on the MI knowledge base.
Sorry Raja I had not seen this post until AutomationGuy posted. I haven't really gotten around to using this since we have been using a different tool for the HTML reporting. However if you log onto the Mercury knowledge base for QTP and search for 'Simple HTML Reporter' you should find a user's example for this.
