I'm doing my tolerance check by outputting data into the data table and then moving that into the function using a variable but the data is being displayed with a "£" on it which means the comparison isn't displayed properly, how do I concatanate the data to remove the £ sign from the table or the variable prior to comparison please?
If the special character is always the 1st prefix, you could simply use the 'Mid' function either while storing the data or while passing it as a variable. This means you'd have to trim the 1st character from the string.
The easiest way to achieve this would be:
variable_name = Mid("your_string",2)
* here 2 specifies the starting position of the expected string
eg: Mid("QAForums", 3) = Forums
