I have been evaluating QuickTest Pro for my company for the past week or so. Everything looks great about it, except for the fact that now the program wont work.
After pressing continue on the license warning box and selecting the add-ins i need. The program looks as though it is starting but then displays "This operation cannot be performed. For further help please contact support." If i click ok a few times the program continues to load up and once the main window has displayed it then procedes to continually displays the above message. I end up having to kill the process because i can't exit normally. I have tried reinstalling the program, but the same problem still occurs.
Now i have tried contacting technical support. On the main number i was told that support is not given to evaluators and that i would have to speak with my Representative. I got in contact with him and he submitted a request that i be given a new key (so i could continue evaluation) and that someone contact me to help resolve the issue. Someone eventually contacted me and requested screenshots. I submitted them but have not heard back from him since (yesterday at about 2:30 EST).
Anyways this leaves me with asking if any of you have encountered this problem before or have any suggestions on how to resolve it. I have reinstalled the application several times making sure to follow their instructions on the support site and have also gone ahead and made sure that all Mercury related keys were removed (afaik). Same thing happens no matter what i try. Any ideas?

There will be Demo version avilable for 14 days, If you want to obtain Permanent License, you need to request License form Mercury support by providing Maintenance No.and Lock-in Code. Once you have obtained License Key, you need to apply that in QTP. If that is a Seat License Key, It works only for one machine
