You can use QTP without VBscript but you lose the ability to make scripts more robust and reliable. You would be limited to record and playback and using the functions and checkpoints that Mercury includes. You would start having problems when you need scripts to support logic and handle dynamic values.
There are lots of websites and books that cover VBscript. You don't need to be an expert to be able to enhance your tests.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">I can vouch for that. If someone as mentally challenged as me and having the attention span of a 2nd grader on a sugar high can get away with it, anyone can. I strongly encourage you to give it a shot.
