I'm looking for a way to check the existence of a scrollbar on a webelement.
Since QTP wont identify this, can someone suggest an alternative?
(I'm hiring Software Development Engineers in Test in Seattle, WA)
If the webelement is a webedit, you can check for the value of "rows".
Nope. It's just identified as a simple webelement displaying some text. Anyways I did figure out a way to get the row count but the that does not ensure the existence of a scroll bar.
Infact the intention here is to make sure that a scrollbar exists when there are far too many rows to display.
