Issue: Say we are about to add a user. A popup window with fields to enter details opens. After entering the details. Click on Apply button. A few seconds is taken for popup to close off This wait time varies with number of times the feature has been used previously.
We had been using WaitTimes after clicking Apply button. Say wait (10) - but everytime, the wait need not be so long.
So we are trying to come up with a code as:
maxWaitTime = 10
counter = 0
counter = counter + 1
IF Browser("Digital Evolution_2").Exist(1) THEN
IF counter > maxWaitTime THEN
Reporter.ReportEvent 1, "Response taking more time", "Waited for 30 seconds - no Response!!!"
But this is applicable only for one window. If i switch to say another page like Modify, then this isnt applying.!!!
Can u pl help me out asap.
Can v count number of open browser windows in the system?
Your window title might be named identically to the first popup, yet the window id itself is usually different, ergo the id would differ for each. You can read the number of browsers open by micClass:=Browser, CreationTime:=[number]. Someone out there will have a function which can do this.
Thank u for the responses....but........
The window property is not being the same everytime. Sometimes, Browser("CreationTime:=1") is pointing to parent window and sometimes to popup!!!
