I think this is a quite simple question but I don't have many experiences in programming, so maybe you can help me:
From a script in QTP, I would like to call a python script with one or more arguments. These arguments should be values I captured from QTP script before. For example a value that I typed in an edit box in the application. And now I want to execute the python script with this value as an argument. The python script should return a value that I want to use in following QTP script.
Is that possible and can you give me a little code example?
can you send the sample of code of where your error is being generated. I think it might be a syntactical error as it's obviously not finding a variable to use as the object. Are you calling your python script from the command line?
Not sure what could be causing this one. Is your OR shared? (just trying to rule out any obvious stuff) If it is try changing it to per action and see if that helps... otherwise....... sorry
Anyone out there have any ideas? This might need a post to the Mercury site itself....
