Has anyone had any problems when using the command DataTable.ImportSheet or Import command in QTP(version 6.5, not sure if it's actually working properly)? If possible how can i make the data be displayed in the data table?
Thanks in advance?
The problem I encounter is that I have a script which queries an Oracle databse for specific records dated yesterday i.e. SYSDATE -1. This works fine as the file output is created as .xls. When the DataTable.ImportSheet command is used there is no data displayed in the Datatable, even though the spread sheet contains a named column header.
I am a new member to this site and just began using QTP a few weeks ago. I too am having data table issues. I am attempting to create a script that calls for various data tables. I have created separate actions and labeled the action the same name as the data table. However, I have more than one and when I created my second action with my second data table, it overlaid the first one. I'm stuck. Any suggestions?
However, the problem i'm finding is that each iteration is using a refreshed list extracted from the database. Therefore the datatable column heading does not remain constant.... Is there any way of getting around this?
