Auto startup script
I startup QTP by a script and I want the test to stop when it occur an error. Then I add this to the startup script:qtApp.Test.Settings.Run.0nError = "Stop". But it doesn't take effect. It still ignore all errors and run to end.
While I selected "stop run" in "Test Setting-->Run-->When error occurs during test run", and run test by manual,the option take effect.
Is this a bug of QTP?
The startup script is as below:
qtpTestPath = "H:\tmp\runQTP"
Set qtApp = CreateObject("QuickTest.Application")
qtApp.Open qtpTestPath, True
qtApp.Test.Settings.Run.0nError = "Stop"
Set qtpTestPath = Nothing
Set qtApp = Nothing
Re: Auto startup script
Did you try to stop the application through the recovery scenario?
qtApp.Test.Settings.Run.0nError = "Stop", I think, will stop only if there is an error i starting up.
