I am testing a Windows application in Windows XP. I am trying to input data from an imported Data Sheet to an edit box. I tried to use "Type" to enter the data. If the data in the sheet begins with "1", QTP inputs a !.
I changed "Type" to "Set". Now, before QTP reads the line that uses the "Set" statement, a warning message box appears that would only appear if I did not enter any data and then clicked the Insert button.
I found a way around that by using a pop-up handler. Except now when it tries to input the last row from the sheet, I receive a message "Cannot perform that operation".
If you have seen this please advise.
I have no problem using the "Type" statement in Windows 2000 but have the same problem using the "Set" statement.
