Why does QTP have problems with 3rd party .Net controls?

My question is why does QTP 6.5 with the .Net add-in still have so much problem recognizing 3rd party controls (synchfusion and infrigistics)? It seems it has problems even recognizing properties so user defined objects are hard to use. Can anyone answer this?

I'm still waiting for an answer myself, are there other testing tools better able to cope with Infragistics and Janus controls?

Re: Why does QTP have problems with 3rd party .Net controls?

I've been doing some research, so far QuickTest Pro, e-Tester and Rational Robot are all having trouble recongizing 3rd party controls. Unfortunately, no one says why it doesn't work. Ratioanl Robot claimed that there is third company that can help to solve the problem. www.aaapoint.com.
Would everyone please share any information you can find. Thanks

I appreciate the link but haven't been able to connect this morning. I will try again later and read what they have to say. Thanks.
