I am testing an MFC app that has a ListView in it, and the last column in the ListView is a combo-box field. So, the combo box is a child of the list view and not really a control in its own right. Needless to say, QTP doesn't record that.
Is there any way that I can get this control recognized, or a work-around that I can calculate the coordinates of the right side of the last column, and the coordinates of the item, and find a way to open up that combo box without recognizing it?
The SPY can't see the combo in the ListView either, and low-level recording in my case won't be very accurate (though I am considering it).
Thanks for your replies, if you get more ideas let me know. Also if someone knows how to get column width and item height properties with QTP I can use that in combination with low-level recording to make it reliable. Thanks.
