Not able to solve AQT issue
When I loginto my system there 3 frames. In the Top frame I have multiple tabs. These are coded in Javascrip. First tab is 'Company' and second one is 'Employees'. When you click on ‘Employees’ tab, ‘Add New’ and ‘Search’ will be displayed. Employees Tab and sub tabs are in a single image. These links are controlled using java script.
When we run the script, cursor going to ‘Company’ tab. It suppose to click on ‘Employees’ Tab and under this click on ‘Add New’.
This is where my script stopping me to go further. Because of this problem I am not able to complete all my other transactions. This is very important for me.
I'm looking at possible solutions.
Any assistance or recommendations are greatly appreciated. THANKS!
Re: Not able to solve AQT issue
It seems that the two tabs has the same default properties.
In order to resolve it, try to look on the object properties of the two objects (make sure they are in the object repository).
Try to find a unique property that will enable QTP to distinguish between the two objects.
In order to add a property to the object, go to the object repository, select the object, and click on the add/remove button. This will enable you to add a property.
Hope it helps..
