Global Dictionary Object
I understand that I can create a Global Dictionary inorder to share variables between actions, but the help is a little spotty to me on how exactly I enter a reserved object to the registry. According to help:
'To use the Dictionary object, you must first add a reserved object to the registry(in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest\Professional\MicTest\
ReservedObjects\) with ProgID="Scripting.Dictionary". For example: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mercury Interactive\QuickTestProfessional\MicTest\Reserved Objects\GlobalDictionary'
When I am in Regedit, I see the path that help is talking about, but am I supposed to put the example in as a string or key value?
Re: Global Dictionary Object
Put it as String Value and Scripting.Dictionary without ""
And restart the QTP
