Checking every page of a site
I am new to Quick Test so I apologize if this is a dumb question. I am wondering if there is a way to use QT to spider through an entire web site, while verifying a few objects on each page.
I am trying to verify a logo change on every page of a very large site. Any suggestions for a better way to do this would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Re: Checking every page of a site
If the image has the same source, name, alt text or any other set of attributes that identify it on each page you test, you can use descriptive programming to test for it:
Set img = Browser("...").Page("...").Image("src:=<image source>", "alt:=<alt text>, ...)
If img.Exist Then
Hope this helps.
