QTP 6 source code control questions
QTP sure creates a ton of files when saving a test! I am unsure which files I should code control and which are dynamically created when a test is executed.
I only want to control the real "source" files [for the time being we don't want to source code control output files from the test runs]. So, is a tester [an executor of tests, not a developer of tests] going to be able to execute QTP tests if all files are Read Only, except for those in the ResX directories? Which seem to be all:
*.tsp, *.cfg, *.lck, *.prm, *.xls, *.mtr, *.dat files, and
all ActionX folders & contents
Or do I need to be more selective about what I put under code control?
