does QTP 6 support a "recovery" system?

In QTP 6 say Test #27 fails, leaving the application in an unexpected state for Test #28 [say an unexpected--and to Test #28 an unknown--modal dialog is pending, and a 2nd browser window is left open], how do you "drive" the application back to a known "base state" [i.e. a known starting point] in a generic manner with QTP?

SilkTest has a built-in "recovery" system [while no cake walk to use, it is very powerful] and I have been told that some type of similar recovery system was added to WinRunner 7 [I only used version 6].

I have prowled through the documenation and found no mention of how to handle this situation. So any information you can provide will be appreciated.

    -Thanks, Terry Horwath
