Parameterized logons to SAP R/3
is it possible to parameterize the logon to SAP and use this to access different instances?
Someone told me to use the R/3 logon step and then manipulate it's parameters, but it doesn't seems to work.
Have someone heard about something like this?
Re: Parameterized logons to SAP R/3
you may want to use quicktest's auto log-on feature where you specify what instance you of SAP with client you will log on to before running or executing the script. Also you can create a step to auto log on and then go into expert mode to make this step a parameter and fill it in in the spreadsheet with the particular values that you are after, with the specific client too. Although it's rare to have a script that parameterizes the SAP server that you are logging on to . Is this for performance testing with Loadrunner ??
