Has anyone had much experience exporting and running AQT tests from Test Director. WE are having some trouble with many of ours. Saves are unreliable, and many longer tests do not export to Test Director successfully.
We have a 10MB script that we can download TO Test Director 7.2 and schedule for execution remotely....I have not used TD to create a script and export. I assume you are using AQT 5.5? 5.02 would not work over WANs and so I would assume had other issues as well...
....failure is not an option

Currently I administer TestDirector 7.2 with WinRunner and Quick test professional 5.5 and 5.2. 5.5 is available to my users in limited quantities while we evaluate its stability. I have no doubt that TD support QT Professional scripts in both the areas of Creating scripts "Thru" TD and Maintaining "Thru" TD. I have more confidence in the stability of TD that QT 5.5. Feel free to e-mail me with more specific questions.

Thanks for your reply. We have a number of scripts created in AQT 5.5 which we have saved to Test Director 7.2. We have had many failures when we open them for editing in AQT or try to run them from TD. Commonly, tests open with some actions containing no code. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced such difficulties.
for another user who's seen a problem similar to the one you mention.
Coincidentally, there are also some issues with the integration between the two. For example, our user permissions do not allow Project Managers to create any tests, but if they create the test IN QTP, as opposed to THRU TestDirector, they are able to save the test back to TD... Support has reported this as a 'high priority defect'...
