I'm not sure if you will be able to get to the Object Properties using UFT if the application is going over Citrix. Citrix does not include the object information. It only presents an image. There are other testing tools that work by image such as CitraTest and Eggplant.
When in Florida, Don't Tampa with the code. I made this up.

Generally you'll want to automate the SUT without Citrix as a windows application. Automating within citrix will cause problems as object recognition will not recognize the objects correctly as you have seen. (basically shows up as a canvas or image control)

From the user's point of view, running it under Citrix will be have as a remote thin client, so in effect you'll get the same functional coverage.

    David,
I agree with you. Yes it is better to work on the server however sometimes on projects I was not allowed to go directly to the server. Maybe it was security or reasons I was not told. They just would not allow me to go directly to it. Then I would have had to try something else.
    Thanks,
    Kevin

Hi all Citrix automation is possible if the UFT and the Application under test are installed in the same citrix server. It works as same as that we work in our local desktops. thanks for all your suggestion..
