UFT/QTP in TFS? Continuos Integration?
Anyone able to place their UFT code in Microsoft's TEAM FOUNDATION SERVER (TFS)?
I need to have a centralized location for checking our code in and out. And we plan to use Jenkin's for Continuous Integration.
Currently we just merge our code every few weeks with newer code to a network drive.
What do you guys use?
We do not and will not use TestDirector (QC) due to an extremely tight budget. We create test cases by writing functions for each one. Then in the test file we call whichever test functions we want to execute in a run.

No experience with TFS, but never had a problem with other version control software such as SVN, Git, and one other one I can't remember that worked on a check out/check in basis. In the end they are just files and folder structure after all.
For running from Jenkins you just need to get the tests you want to run there setup to run in a vbs files and make a call to that with the simple execute windows batch command in Jenkins. Setup the vbs to exit with a 0 or 1 depending on test pass/fail so that Jenkins can properly flag the build.
Successfully used svn & Jenkins. We are now looking to upgrade to Jenkins 2 and the new UFT plugin for Jenkins.
