I read someplace about a Run Debug mode or Debug Run. I think it allows a script to be launched from ALM. Then it stops on breakpoints.
Does anyone know about this or how to use it?
It would be useful if there is such a feature.
When in Florida, Don't Tampa with the code. I made this up.
Kevin IMHO debugging UFT scripts in native UFT before uploading to ALM and running is the way to go.
Do you have a scenario where a script runs on your desktop in UFT but fails when executed from ALM?
I've only used it in the context of BPT -- where it allows the execution of a Component without having it in a test (more specifically, without having it in a test in a test set...)
... just another Tester ...
I see your point and agree. I was still wondering if the feature exists.
I don't use BPT that often. But this is good to know about.
