Do the database checkpoints work with Oracle or only Microsoft SQL?
When in Florida, Don't Tampa with the code. I made this up.
I believe it should be possible, there exist ADO connection strings and adapters that work with Oracle. https://www.connectionstrings.com/or...e-db-oraoledb/

I appreciate the confirmation that it should work with Oracle. Also the connection strings will be of value.
I used the link from David's thread above.
Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle;Data Source=MyOracleDB;User Id=myUsername;
I used the format above with real data. I left the Provider alone.
The message that I get is:
Provider Cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.
How can I tell if the Oracle Client is working? Do I need to change the Provider to something else or is OraOLEDB.Oracle standard for Oracle?
You'll need to find the OLE adapter for the corresponding version. Oracle Provider for OLE DB
I'm reading about the Oracle Providers. Is it the same thing as the Oracle Client? Do I ask a DBA for the Provider Software?
