Start a scirpt in ALM. Stop on a breakpoint.
Is it possible to launch a test set. Then inside of a script have a breakpoint?
I am trying to look at
QCUTIL.CurrentTestSetTest methods and properties to see how they work. They only have values when launched from ALM (I think so, not sure).
I can output diagnostic data to msgbox or a file but I want to step through the code to see how it works.
Is there a way to do this?
If you put a breakpoint inside of a function in a library, leave that library open in QTP, then fire off the script from ALM it will stop on the breakpoint in the function. I'm not sure if that trick works in UFT, though.
I will try it.
You should select the option "Run GUI Test sets in debug mode" in the Remote Agent Settings window.
