running UFT on remote desktop machine
I have my UFT on machine A, to which I remote desktop from my laptop and kick off my regression whenever it is required.
Now, when I try to minimize my remote desktop and try to do other stuff on my laptop, all my scripts are either failing or not running.
I am trying to find a way where I can kick off my regression and work on my other manual testing. Problem is I have only one machine.
This is new to me, would extending my laptop to other screen work well?
Do I have need another desktop or just monitor would be fine?
can someone please help me out with this issue?
Use VNC instead of remote desktop.
Why do you have to minimize your remote desktop? You can just switch to your other apps and you should be fine.
An extra monitor is always nice to have especially when you are debugging your UFT scripts in your local machine. It doesn't help much though for remote desktop operations.
