UFT 12.02 patch 1.
How do I run code in a library that is attached to a script? The code in the library has Dims, Publics and lines of code. It is not in functions. I want to run the code that is in the library.
I can understand Dims and Publics, but what other kinds of "lines of code" do you have that isn't in functions?
(Opinions and information contained in this post are wholly my own and do not reflect the opinions of my employer.)
QFL's are 'executed' when the test starts up (essentially the executefile method).
This means that any code in whitespace (dims and executable instructions) will be run automatically.
If you want to be able to visualise how this works, put 'Print "QFL <name> Loaded" at the top of a QFL and execute an associated test.
... just another Tester ...
Code such as :
If mVar = 3 then
Call Do something
I thought that I had to have LoadFunctionLibrary() for what I want to run. I didn't realize that it runs all of the associated tests.
It loads functions into memory and runs lines of code such as Print.
