UFT 12 Question
In QTP 11, in the Watch section (of the Debugger), you can see every method and property an Object has.
For example, by clicking on the '+' sign next to the Object
In UFT 12, this is not the case. If I enter an Object in the Watch section, I can see that is it indeed an Object but I can't reveal anything within the Object.
Is there a workaround to this problem?
Even worse. There is an acknowledged issue that having objects in the Watch window cause UFT to crash after a little while of tracing.
You can ask HP for instructions to add the debugger to the registry. It might make things better. It has somewhat in the past UFT versions. I saw the instructions and felt like just removing the object after quickly looking at it.
Based on your "debugger to the registry" comment, I was able to fix the problem.
The problem lies in the infamous pdm.dll and msdbg2.dll. UFT demands a newer version of pdm.dll than one might have.
Here are the Links I've used to fix the problem:

Oh great! I'm glad my vague information that I could remember lead to an answer. I have been learning that sometimes blurting out something stuck in my disconnected concept may be of value.
I will try the fix also.
