    Unhappy UFT12.02 ActionTemplate not loading

    Hi,

I'm using UFT 12.02 and when i create an ActionTemplate.mts in the UFT installation\dat folder, it is not loaded when creating a new action.
I have already verified the extension is indeed .mts, and not .mts.txt

    Any help is appreciated...

I have never tried this in earlier versions of QTP/UFT. Have you seen it work in the past?

I have only resently started using UFT. I have used QTP 9.x in the passed and it works.
Documentation / changes in UFT 12 indicate it should work now as well

And you unchecked 'Hide extensions for known file types' in folder options... When you verified?

Ok. Can you check for any errors in your template? Paste the code in an Action...
