For the past few years, I have had the situation where QTP/UFT locks up. I have to kill the UFT process. Sometimes UFT just closes without a reason.
I open the scirpt. I get a message saying that my machine and my id has the scirpt open.
If version control is being used then then there are check in/out messages that compound on the previous error.
Do others run into this?
I have the code to do the unlock on the server.
Is there anyway to make this work more smoothly?
I would try to find the root problem. Are there any error message in the logs why it shut down?
Patience is like bread I say.... I ran out of that yesterday.
I forgot how to get to the UFT logs.
where are the logs located
when things gets harder ,the harder gets going
In QTP 11, in the C:\Program Files\HP\QuickTest Professional\bin directory, there is a ClientLogs application. I used to work with QTP and .NET, so crashes happened a ton.
