In QTP/UFT I would go to file\resources to attach libraries to a script.
I inherited BPT scripts. The code correctly steps into sub and functions. I was wondering where the libraries get attached in the BPT style.
As you've noticed, the structure in BPT is a little different.
Instead of associating QFL's and TSR's with your test, the Business Component is instead associated with an "Application Area".
The Application Area contains the QFL's TSR's and Recovery Scenarios. Once you figure it out, it's a lot easier to work with.
... just another Tester ...
I saw the Application Area someplace while looking at the component. Do the QFLs have to be attached to each Application Area. Is there a way to have a shared OR when working with BPT?
I hope you don't mind me asking BPT questions for a while.
Ask as many as you like - my apologies I didn't see your message until now.
When your object repository is added to an application area, it is then available to any Components linked to the Application Area. It's shared :-)
