CaptureBitmap with OverrideExisting=True is not overwritting the previous file
CaptureBitmap with OverrideExisting=True is not overwritting the previous file in UFT 12.
Is this problem also happening in your machine? If not, please post a message so I can follow up with our IT Team, who updates our machines remotely or silently, as they just did some updates in the last few days.
I capture the .png bitmap of a window and save it to a folder. On rerun, the previous bitmap does not get replaced eventhough the OverrideExisting parameter is set to True.

What code are you using to generate the filename of the captured image?
I didn't have to worry about the code used to generate the filename of the captured image. It is all done in this free tool that anyone can download and use called PAC (PDF Accessibility Checker) which can be used for PDF 508 Compliance testing. The tool is a .NET Windows Forms for what UFT can see so objects recognized are mostly SwfWindow, SwfObjects, SwfTable, etc.
Either way you choose (.bmp or .png), this issue in CaptureBitmap with OverrideExisting=True is encountered.
If you get a chance to try it, let me know if you see the same issue or not.
