I am writing to a cell with a cell within a table within a MS Word Document
All of the text input in all of the cells gets stuck after using this line of code. I only want a particular cell to change color.
It is staying in the same color one the rest of the rows.
Do I need the Range portion of the line of code? Does it stay in one color until told to switch back?
oNewTable.Cell(4,3).Range.Font.ColorIndex = 4'

Reason: forgot to say what the issue is.
I just remembered what is happening. I saw this many years back. Although I am changing one cell, the entire column is changing to the color. It seemed like a bug. I found some way around it. I cannot remember what I did.
You need to use either cells or range, not both. That'll likely fix your problem. I think what's happening is that Range in your statement, since it isn't provided an actual range as parameter, is making stuff up and selecting the whole column.
