Way to know if element is present in visible part of the webpage
Is there any way to determine using QTP whether a specific element is present in visible part of the webpage or not (Suppose the element is present at the bottom of the webpage and appears after scrolling it)?
You need to add that element part in object repository and first verify if the element is exist on page.
- Check the visible property of element under visible part
-Try to get the style property of the object which signifies the visibility.
QTP doesn't require to scroll down in order to verify the existence unless you want to perform any action on it.
@Ashu - I think you did not get the query:
Suppose there is a element on the page which is on the bottom of the page and is loaded but not visible as it is on the bottom of the page and will become visible to our eyes (not QTP) when the page is scrolled down.....My query is: is there any way to check whether the element is appearing on currently visible part of the page/window?
