Seeing object elements in QTP 11 debugger
I'm on QTP 11 and in the debugger and when I look at an object I cannot drill down into the elements? I have seen other machines that can do it.
I remember reading about how to do this a long time ago. There was some extension to the debugger. I don't remember where I read about how to do this. I could use that myself.
For now I have to keep getting the count of items in the object. Then I use the .name and .value properties on each item. It would be nice if someone else remembers how to do this.
The debugging happens through PDM.dll. This DLL gets update for those who have Visual Studio installed and on a non-visual studio system, you may not be able to drill down. You can replace and register the DLL from a another system which works in the new system. You will need to register the DLL using RegSvr32
I installed visualstudio, but I still cant see into an object. I have opened a ticket with HP. they mentioned some patch for ie9 but Im on ie8. I will post more info when I get it.
