I ran into a situation where the only "guaranteed" way to find the correct table, was to loop through all the tables and find text in certain cell position.
Set oDesc = Description.Create()
oDesc("micclass").Value = "WebTable"
Set oCollection = objPage.ChildObjects(oDesc)
NumberOfobjects = oCollection.Count
Found = 0
For i = 0 To NumberOfobjects - 1
TableIdentifier = oCollection(i).GetCellData("1","1")
If TableIdentifier = "Unique Text" Then
msgBox "Found it"
msgbox "not found"

Patience is like bread I say.... I ran out of that yesterday.
I did something similar. I incremented the index instead of making the oCollection. It worked, but I would use your solution in the future.
I am still hoping someone gives some information on working with tables and the DOM object.
It wont be possible to paste the source code here....
However, i did some digging on my own with the IE Developer tool.
My findings were :
There will be three or more tables which will be generated dynamically using the js files...
Using the (IE Developer) tool itself i was able to locate the js file but the response/even the table headers are encrypted
Also, when we use the IE Developer tool highlight option, we are not able to highlight the tables inside this table.
There are certain instance where there is div tag in which all the tables are created.
