Difference between timer and transaction in QTP
I am little confuse, there is Service.starttransaction (and end transaction). and we can also get time between number of statements by timer.
What is more appropriate way to finding time between statements and why?
Using Timer you can calculate the difference and store them in variable at run-time, but in Start & Transaction you will get it at inbuilt QTP results
Timer is a VBScript functionality and Service object is a QTP functionality. Service will automatically report timings in the result.
