My QTP record this below:
Browser("Username / Password Sign").Page("Create Request").Link("Jack Smith").Click
It is a web dropdown.
If it is ".weblist" with a "Select" value, I know what to do. This should be the proper way.
Why did it record as a ".link" ?
I cant get it to work.
Please give me some ideas.
I get this error message:
Cannot identify the object "[ Link ]" (of class Link). Verify that this object's properties match an object currently displayed in your application.
I did this now:
Browser("name:=Create Request").Page("title:=Create Request").WebElement("innertext:=Jack Smith").Click
It run without any error but the selection of "Jack Smith" is not shown on the screen.
What does the spy show?
