QTP11 SWF objects .Net window forms are recognized as Window objects in WIN 7-32 bit?
current config: OS:Win7-32 bit, Application: .Net, Silverlight version:5.1, .Net Framework version:4.0, QTP version:11
Previous config: OS:Winxp, Application:.Net, Silverlight Version:5.1, .Net Framework version:4.0, QTP version:11
I am currently working with an .Net application, which uses swf objects. Qtp was able to identify the swf objects(both Parent and child as swf) when I try to spy or record the object in .Net application with machine as winxp.
When the system got migrated to WIN7-32 bit operating system, Qtp could not able to identify the SWF parent object while recording the same .Net application. Even when I try to spying it, it gave me
Window:xxxx(parent object)---->SwfObject:SwfObject(child object)---->SwfObject:SwfObject
After all the analysis, I did a clean uninstall and install of QTP11 and I have installed QTPNET_00120 Patch, it does not worked out. I would be great, if someone could help me resolving the issue and let me know the correct patch to install.
I would try the following
1. Launch QTP first and then the application.
2. At times, QTP spy does not provide correct object definition, but when you record any operation it recognizes
3. Reinstall just the .net addin for QTP and restart your machine.
