Issue with QC Resource Access
I had this issue all of sudden in the middle of test run,
and when I tried to run the scripts which went successful just minutes before..and they too fail on same reason this time.
Here is is the error text.
An error occured while attempting to load file "(null)"
However QC resources has the all files though its throwing the 'null' message. Has any one experienced the same, kindly suggest me on what went wrong to get this nasty error.
Could be some network issue breaking the connection or could be a bug in UFT also. Hard to say this way. Get HP support involved in this
Was it a one time event or did it work when you tried running the script again?
If the problem persists, turn on logging...C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\QuickTest Professional\bin\ClientLogs.exe
The majority of the logs will end up in...C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Temp\
You can examine the OTA, OTA Extended, and QTP logs to see if anything looks wrong.
Is there any patch or any other activity ( by you or network team) happened before and after?
