I recorded an event of select from wpf combo object as given below.
WpfWindow("xxxxxxxxxxxxx").WpfComboBox("xxxxxx").S elect "MyView"
But when I run this script,it throws error like ..."Confirm that the specified item is included in the object's item collection."
I am unable to ind out why the recording recognises the selection but replay is not able to find it under the combo box.
Can someone help here.
I ran into this last year. It had something to do with there being two methods to use with the ComboBox. Maybe I tried using the method without the Wpf in front. Just ComboBox().
I tried your suggestion. But "ComboBox()" method is not supported since it is a Wpf Object.
Also have you installed the patches for the WPF add-in. Do check this might help you resolve the issues
Winds of Change
Do you know any specific patch that has to be installed? I installed almost all required packages.
I just noticed that the combo bix select works fine if i select the item by index instead of value
I had a similar issue with swfcombobox.
Try using index instead of actual value.
e.g. WpfWindow("xxxxxxxxxxxxx").WpfComboBox("xxxxxx").S elect 2
Thanks & Regards,

Technology Tree: QTP - Unable to select Weblist in QTP
maulik, the combo box I am using is a dynamic one and so I have to loop through the contents to identify the index.
So I used getitemscount/getcontent and both of them are making the application to throw unknown exception error.
Check whether it is able to get all the items - check by gettng the item count
Try once with the index wpfwindow().wpfcombobox.select 1
Vijay...here is what i tried..
1. ....select 1
This makes the application to throw unknown exception
In this case, getcontent throwed exception but select 1 works fine
